What is Shipping Protection?

Updated this week

Shipping Protection is an optional service you can add to your purchase at checkout for only $4.99.

With Shipping Protection, you will receive priority customer service for your order issues: we will reply to your inquiry and provide the next steps towards resolution within 24h (excluding weekends and holidays). Your order will be reshipped* (see disclaimer below), or you may opt for a refund if you prefer.

Without Shipping Protection, standard customer service applies. We will issue a refund for the issue (if applicable) but reshipments will not be offered.

The fee covers the following issues:

  • Substantial damage in transit or upon delivery, affecting the product's usability or safety (broken bottle, leakage, etc.)

  • Missing products from your order

  • Shipments lost in transit

  • Wrong products received

  • Shipments marked as delivered by the courier but not received

However, Shipping Protection does not cover the following situations:

  • Minor cosmetic imperfections such as scratches, label wear, or slight packaging damage that do not affect the product's quality

  • Stolen shipments after delivery has been confirmed and a valid signature obtained

  • Misdelivered or returned shipments due to an incorrect address provided at checkout

  • Returned shipments due to failed delivery attempts or rejected delivery

To report an issue with your order, please email [email protected] and share your order details, photos, and proof of the issue within 7 days of delivery.

The shipping protection fee itself is non-refundable.

*IMPORTANT:

  • If your order includes a Flaviar Advent Calendar, different protocols apply due to the product's limited nature. If you experience any issues with your Advent Calendar, please contact [email protected].

  • While we're happy to offer a reshipment for your order if you purchased Shipping Protection, please note that this depends on the product's availability. In some cases, the product may be out of stock. If that's the case, a refund will be issued instead.
