Why was my order canceled, and what happens next?

Below, we outline the common causes, refund processes, and steps you can take to avoid similar issues in the future.

Common reasons for order cancellations

  • Stock Unavailability: Orders can be canceled because the product is out of stock.

  • Payment Issues: If a payment transaction fails, the order may be automatically canceled. You can reorder once the payment issue is resolved.

  • Shipping Restrictions: Some orders are canceled because the retailer cannot ship to the selected state. Even if the product appears available online, state-specific restrictions may apply.

  • Partial Fulfillment: In cases where only part of an order can be fulfilled, the unavailable items may be canceled, and the remaining items shipped.

Refund process and timeline

When an order is canceled, a full refund is issued to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your bank statement within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
